Can I have your autograph?
Liana hadn’t been back in New York for at least three months and she missed the beat of the almost as much as she missed New Orleans. The first stop she wanted to make was to Bourbon Street and grab some hot Beignets, but there was someone she couldn’t go without.
Liana had heard from her manager that a certain “Star” would be in New York and it was rumored that she was working on a new album, and although she loved watching her bandmate work, she just missed her company. Being on tour alone was always lonely especially when you’re separated from someone as close as she was to Star. The two were bandmates, but their connection ran deeper. From sharing the loss of parents to actually forming a small bond before their band days, Diamond and Star were closer to blood than anyone else in their lives.
If there was one thing Liana knew as a celebrity, it was that she didn’t like attention. She didn’t mind getting someone stopping her on the street, or asking for an autograph. But she did mind it when she was sitting down to eat lunch with friends. Sometimes it was just hard to chew your food without someone trying to bother you. It sounded mean and selfish, but it was the truth. It was also the perfect time to see Star’s reaction go from annoyance to surprise in to 2.5 seconds.
It wasn’t hard to find her best friend. Gray’s Payapa’s was a favorite spot of hers and it was close to midnight. The best time to get away from the press was late at night and on the upper west side. The scent of hotdogs with the works tickled Liana’s nose as she opened up the door. It was hard to hide herself from her Star, but she tried in her red sweat suit, pulling the hood up to her head to cover her face and tucked her hair back.
“Excuse me beautiful, can I have your autograph?”
She asked as she came up behind the Star, easily getting by her security who noticed Liana the moment she walked in. There were soft laughs from the men, making it difficult for Liana to contain a large smile. Her hand moved up to her mouth to keep her familiar laugh from slipping, but it was too late, it had already slipped out and it didn’t help that her hood slipped off her head.

A rising star on the entertainment skyline, Start Barbo (born Tasha Nielsen) is a passionate, determined and often misunderstood entertainer. Recently broken up with band mate and friend Rex, and feeling the media backlash for it, she's finally feeling the full pressures of stardom.
Can I have your autograph?
Star loved New York. It was home and she was glad to be back there, even if it meant that she barely saw daylight. Her tour had ended in triumph, much to the excitement of her manger and record label, and her accountant had plenty to do once the proceeds began to roll in. Everything was great, so why did she feel so awful? Maybe it was the stupid tabloid she had picked up at the front desk of the studio – a big picture of her in the outfit she recognized as the one she’d worn when she’d arrived at JFK two days before. That would have been fine, if they hadn’t blended it with a picture of Rex and some bimbo walking hand-in-hand together with the tag line: THE STARS AREN’T SHINING BUT THERE’S A NEW MOON RISING. It was corny, ridiculous and yet still somehow painful to see the man she’d spent a year and a half believing they were in love. What a joke.
cheers to the weekend! outfit

Can I have your autograph?
"Bitchhhhh! Working!" Liana laughed as she returned the hug, her arms wrapping around Tasha's small waist and almost lifting the woman from the floor. It felt so good to hug someone with real emotion. She didn't know she missed her best friend so much but once they broke apart and she saw her friend's smile, she couldn't help but return one herself before stepping back and taking her in.
"Ugh, thank you. London was amazing!" Liana meant it. One thing she loved about her career--traveling and seeing all the beautiful faces of people who came to hear her, listen to her. Even after all of the years of touring with the band, it still felt weird for Liana to get off her jet alone and hear cheers of her name. It was adrenaline rush and just standing there inside of Gray's she could still feel it course through her veins.
Running her hands across the edges of her hair, Liana's smile grew wider at the mention of articles. She hadn't had time to read any of them, but she hoped for good things. It was hard to describe the feeling of pride, but hey, how many people could say they were sitting on 200 million dollars of net worth, making nearly $100,000 grand just to have a chorus featured in a song, and sold out shows seating nearly 200,000 screaming fans? She deserved to be be proud.
"The food." Liana admitted with a shoulder shrug, dipping her hands into the back pockets of her sweats while rocking back on the heel of her feet before stepping forward to survey the contents behind the glass bar.
"Oh, and you too." She joked to her best friend. In reality, she came back just because of her and planned to take her away from the studio for the night, grabbing a bite to eat was just the beginning of the night she had planned for them.
"Late night goodies on meeee..." Liana announced in a sing song voice. She didn't really have family to splurge on and she knew Star was more than capable for paying for her own meal, but she was the only family she had, and wouldn't take no for an answer. Of course she announced this pretty loud, only intending it to be for her best friend, but the sound of light cheers from the few customers inside surprised the dark haired beauty enough for her to turn her head to the sound and smile.
"Oops.." She murmured underneath her breath with a playful wince before turning back to her band mate. "Good thing I brought my wallet." Unzipping her purse, she dug inside the blue tote bag and brought out her wallet and opened it, pulling out a few bills before closing it back and stuffing inside her bag.
Liana looked behind her and Star to see the woman's two bodyguards standing rather protectively and she couldn't help but kick herself. She had ditched her two guards about four blocks back. She wondered how long it would take them to realize that she had taken the black Land Rover and made a midnight trip alone. Probably soon. She wasn't sure how she could ditch the massive men, and maybe it was the best to have them tag around...but Liana just wanted to kick back and relax with Star. Alone. Take some selfies. Eat hot dogs and burp from the Dr. Pepper.
"So, what are you doin' tonight other than stuffin' your face?" She asked her best friend after turning her head back in her direction.
I'll drink to that! OUTFIT
